Get to the chopper

Well green laneing came and went and the Old plod bike now wears a GS thou' front end from my old GS chopper 'The Death Trap'. It's a wide glide made way back in the 80's when we built bikes in the street and backyards. I'm building this with all the crap I have sashed away. It won't win any prizes. well maybe worst rat but I don't care too much.

I believe in justice, I believe in vengeance, I believe in GETTING THE BASTARDS, GETTING THE BASTARDS, GETTING THE BASTARDS!!!!!

The art of Suze Dawson. She's disappeared without a trace, I can't find her which is a shame as she was a wicked tallent and captured the life back when we were all a lot less up our own bums and just wanted to get pished in a field with our mates while ripping the pee out of each other until we fell down in the grass and woke up with snails on our faces and a craving for bacon sando's and strong tea.

The Changeling. I love this bike so much. Built by a bloke called Baz in his back garden from bits of GS1000, 2CV parts and dustbin lids (true story) and thrashed through the 80's and 90's. It evolved organically gaining and losing a turbo, collecting dirt, oil and scrapes like a primordial beast would get from just existing. It's still out there but in the hands of a journalist type who was involved with the other custom motorcycle magazine, you know the one that's not AWOL. This is the yardstick by which all roughty, toughty survival/rat/street fighter bikes should be judged. Shiny? Chrome? candy paint? Do me a favour. Go home and think about what you're doing you big tart. Oh hi nurse is it time for my meds? Yummy.

Keith Flints Martek, yes THAT Keith Flint. I had the chance to buy this and passed on it because I'm a fuktard sometimes. It wasn't even that expensive. Regrets, I have a few.

It's Saturday (I think?) so here's a bumper collection of Blim the Pixie. Well you're going to need something to giggle at when you're sat having a poo aren't you?

I want to go greenlaning again but I'm not spending out on another mad as a box of monkeys enduro bike so my Triumph 500 will be the donor for the project. It already has a BSA scrambler tank available and a race carb from a BSA B50MX to go on. I'll build up a set of Norton Roadholder forks from the parts bin and add a Norton wheel to the mix to replace the current BMW airhead set up that's too long and heavy. The engines a mild mannered ex-police unit 500 but 10:1 pistons will liven it up a bit. The ignition is all new racing Pazon electronic so I could run it on methanol if I want to but pump piss will do. Probably need to source a new rear hub as the Q/D one I have doesn't allow for gearing changes as the sprocket and brake drum are one piece. I shall have to see if I can modify the later one to fit. That's the good thing about old bangers that were in production for decades, you can mix and match later parts to improve them. There really just oily meccano.
